Smart TV guide
Most modern Samsung and LG Smart TVs can run an IPTV player straight from the built-in app store, so you do not need any extra hardware. This guide shows the general process; menu names can differ slightly between TV models and software versions.
Open the TV settings and look for Software Update or About This TV. Installing the latest version keeps the app store and player apps working reliably.
Open the app store on your TV and search for “IPTV player”. Choose a player that supports M3U playlists or Xtream Codes logins, check its description and reviews, then install it.
Launch the player. Some players let you enter your details on the TV directly. Others show a device ID or MAC address and ask you to add your playlist on the developer's website — follow the instructions shown on screen.
Choose the login type that matches what you received: paste the M3U URL, or enter the server URL, username and password for Xtream Codes. Double-check spelling and remove any extra spaces.
Save your settings and give the player a moment to load categories and channels. Pick a channel to test playback. If you received an EPG (TV guide) URL, add it in the player's settings.
App availability varies by TV model and country. Try searching for “M3U” or “IPTV”, or use a streaming stick such as a Fire TV Stick instead.
Check that your details are entered exactly as provided and that you chose the correct login type. Restart the TV fully by unplugging it for 30 seconds, then try again.
Switch to a wired connection or move your router closer to the TV. Close other apps running in the background.
Still not working? Check the FAQ or contact support with your device model and player app.
